Marriage
- Advice given
Mystery writer Agatha Christie, who was married to an archaeologist
said, "An archaeologist is the best husband a woman
can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is
in her."

you'll never end up with a nag."
When it comes
to advice about marriage, first Corinthians chapter 7 is
a classic source. It is good advice and first and foremost
Godly advice.
A
Merry Heart
Proverbs 17:22 "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones."
A Pastor of a
church was raising funds for a new sanctuary. He said to
his congregation "Whoever gives £1000 can pick
out three hymns. " A little old lady in the back of
the service raised her hand and said, "Pastor I'll
do it." He was so excited. He said, "Thank you
very much. Go ahead and pick out your three hymns."
She looked over
the congregation and said, "All right. I'll take him,
him and him!!!"
Good humour is a tonic for mind and body. It is the best

Did
You Know?
Some timber producers
have to wait up to 180 years to produce a harvest! That
means the planter will never know the great grandchild who
reaps the harvest, and the harvester will never know the
forefather who planted the seed.
The future depends on the foresight and patience of each
generation.
The Believer should live like that. We don't know when the
Lord will return, but it's a sure thing and we can live
like it. When we focus on the certainty of Christ's return,
and the hope that brings, we can wait for the Lord and endure
hostility.
